Silverton, Oregon SK Sartell Mural Painting ans stained concrete

These are  fun projects.

An entertainment barn.. This small area is a tiny little nook kitchen for entertaining. The cabinets on the opposite wall are the color of the red poppies. The entire floor of the structure is the acid stained 18"x18"diamonds.

These 18" diamonds below have been cut into the concrete with a diamond saw blade.  They were then stained using a acid based colored stain. This was a project that took several days of patient waiting between coats and colors.

The master suite has been given an extraordinary gift of  a beautiful hand-made quilt by the nationally known quilt artist Karen Larson.
"Gypsy Garden"

The picture at the left is of a Jewish wedding Huppah, or wedding canopy.  This custom hand-made wedding quilt was made by quilt artists, Karen Larson for her only daughter's wedding. The brides aunt, Nancy Larson had a big part in this creation.  Each hand picked fabric detail was chosen with great care for it's color, shade and detailed meanings. We used this art piece for the re-decorating of the bride and Groom's new home in the Washington, D.C. area.
