An 1890's claw footed  bathtub has been placed in the master bedroom near a view window.  It took me four days and three gallons of paint stripper to get all the years of paint off.  I then researched how a tub was professionally refinished.  It was going to cost upwards of six hundred dollars to have it professionally refinished.  So I did it myself....

The walls were hand textured and then painted a muted flat sage green, I then painted vertical stripes with the same color in semi-gloss. They are just barely visible.
