This 1920' cottage in Spokane, Washington has seen better days with it's lath and plaster walls in need of a lot of TLC. Re-texturing with hand trowels covers a lot of old cracks and stains. I then used the owner's much loved hiking experiences to guide what the mural would depict. This mural is the first thing that you see on entering the home. It still amazes me what a little paint can do.
